Principals Message

Dear Students, Families, and Staff,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Trigg County High School! As I begin my third year as principal, I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving our students, families, staff, and community. I am proud of the progress we have made together and excited to build on the strong foundation we have established.

Over the past two years, we have strengthened relationships, raised expectations, and remained focused on creating a positive and supportive environment where every student can succeed. To our returning Wildcats, thank you for continuing this journey with us. To our freshmen and new students, welcome to the Wildcat family! You are joining a school community that values hard work, personal growth, and a commitment to excellence.

This year, our focus will be on continued growth. We will challenge ourselves to improve academically, strengthen student engagement, expand career and postsecondary opportunities, and ensure that every student is prepared for life beyond high school. Growth does not happen all at once. It comes through consistent effort, reflection, perseverance, and a willingness to keep moving forward.

Our staff has worked diligently to prepare meaningful lessons, supportive learning environments, and experiences that will help students discover their strengths and reach their goals. Every student will be encouraged to take ownership of their learning, embrace challenges, and strive for excellence both inside and outside the classroom.

Families remain essential partners in this work. I encourage you to stay informed, communicate with us, attend school events, and celebrate the progress your student makes throughout the year. When students, families, staff, and the community work together, we create opportunities for every Wildcat to thrive.

As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, let us move forward with purpose, positivity, and Wildcat pride. Together, we will continue to grow, continue to improve, and continue building a school community where every student is supported, challenged, and prepared for the future.
